Climate change is obvious, natural events are visible. It is time to stop polluting, plundering our natural resources and thinking that all the damage we are doing now will not have consequences in the future, on our children and on all the living beings that will inhabit this wonderful planet. The change is now and it is everyone's duty to be part of it. We cannot continue to blame governments and companies as we are all part of them.

Makers is a movement that started in Tulum among a group of friends in 2016, they saw the need to make a change and act on it, not to just talk and complain about it. Cala shares the same philosophy and vision of the things that have to be done to make these changes happen and that is why we support all their ideas and actions. It is not only about cleaning the beaches but also about raising awareness and educating the people, the locals as well as all the tourists who visit us, about the changes we have to make for a healthier and more sustainable life.
